William Hill Sports Betting

William Hill has been pushing some decent promos in my area recently and with the start of Football (US) season I decided to give them a shot. They had a promo where it was if you deposit $100-250 you get a $250 free bet bonus that can be used on sports betting. I read through the terms and it essentially stated you have to bet your deposit and that's pretty much it. In my state they introduced a small casino shop which mostly was just Divine Fortune. I decided to play that and ended up betting quite a bit but never lost my money. Ultimately I ended up with over 4 times my initial deposit. This involved bets ranging from $0.20 to $4.00 and I easily bet back my initial deposit multiple times over but for the most part was playing with the winnings since I never lost.

I placed a sports bet and won with the $250 free bet but nothing was cashed back to me. I checked bonus status and it shows progress on wagering "none". So it seems to me that any progress I made by playing in the slots didn't actually do anything on the sports side, however, that was never mentioned (it says bet not bet on sports for your deposit). It's really not a large amount but I seemed to have followed the rules and will see how it goes. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I contacted their live chat and they have escalated this to research. I figured I would wait and see what they can do before I try to complain. But I did save the terms of the promo.

Yeah, whilst a pretty poor site (in terms of layout and general performance), they have some decent promo's (their bonus game daily though, sucks) - they had an offer on slots where if you bet 50 quid you got 50 quid back in Free Spins with x1 wagering

Normally if they give you free sports bets the slots wagering doesn't usually count but hard to say w/o seeing the terms

I logged back on and boom - my money was there. I guess because I didn't spend the deposit on betting (slots instead) they ended up having to manually review it. All is well now!
