Stormyme
Hello I am new to Askgamblers but have been coming here for years for tips and info. The question I have now is I hit a $244,000.00 Jackpot and it has been confirmed. My question is I am in the United States and they are in Malta. Any idea how they might pay me and how my bank is going to react to a sudden HUGE deposit? lol What are my tax obligations? Anyone know how this works? ValDes
Hi there and welcome to AskGamblers Forum Wow, hitting a $244K jackpot! Now that's a killer hit! Congrats! Here end the good news unfortunately.... If the operator is based in Malta it means there's pretty big chance it's also MGA licensed and if so, there's no way it would allow US players. cocopop3011

Or if you don't want to (which is fine) as Valdes has mentioned abovem are you sure your country of play is accepted there. How did you make your deposit? Have you completed any kind of verification yet?

So I am not sure what to expect with this larger win. The casino is Chumba. cocopop3011
Flatzem
On the review page for Chumba it says they accept US players and many of the reviewers are from USA. They seem to be using some kind of gold coin system and sweepstakes to get around laws? IS CHUMBA CASINO LEGAL? Chumba Casino is a leading social casino site. In addition to our Gold Coin games, we use a unique sweepstakes model which allows the safe and secure redemption of Sweeps Coins for cash prizes to players in the US and Canada. We pride ourselves on adhering to the laws in the jurisdictions that we operate in. We engage with leading experts in those jurisdictions to ensure that we are fully compliant with all applicable laws.

Well, should you face any troubles getting paid you may always use AGCCS and submit a case against the operator. Good luck!

Stormyme
I received first installment today. 3 more to come next week all at once. I was betting max $25 at the time on Rockin Reels. But you can see I had already built up a balance and to get there I was betting $1-$2.50 Flatzem, ValDes and Afi4wins
