I see it as very simple actually...during this pandemic, casinos may see a higher traffic volume and better revenues, for as long as the gamblers still have money to waste away...after pandemic, lower traffic volume and revenue at first, as the public try to get back to normalcy, then almost back to normal as before...almost, because a great majority of the public would be out of job, no money to gamble away, etc, etc.

Not only do I believe that the coronavirus is affecting the casino industry, in my honest opinion it is affecting all industries worldwide, be it small, medium or large scale.

Well the UK has announed today that all of the biggest gambling companies must remove all of their TV adverts as a result of Covid19. I think they're concerned the longer we are in lockdown the more people will turn to online gambling. Also there may not be the help readily available for exisitng problem gamblers so I guess adverts can have a knock on effect. 

I think it's a smart move if I'm being honest.

Increased casino traffic, some hitting their best ever results actually. 

Dramatically decreases sports betting traffic, some facing all time low. 

The way I see it, this trend will go on for another couple of months at least and/or until we have a clear picture worldwide how life will go on with or without reliable COVID-19 medicine and vaccine.  Totally agree with Afi, as soon as our life is back to some normal state, gambling habits and stats will follow.
