Playing a slot machine which is restricted in Australia

I joined Omni slots yesterday.  I deposited 3.2k into the one slot machine in series of $200 sums. 16 x in all.  The slot was not paying out at all. I think I had revived one free spin throughout depositing the whole sum.  
Then on my 17x that I had deposited I went to play the same machine but a message popped on my screen saying that this slot was not available for use as it is restricted in my country.   Where do I stand with this???.  I feel like the slot was not paying out at all and I found the slot is restricted.  If it was restricted why is it letting me play.

At what point did you realise that the slot was not paying and why did you continue playing it? There's plenty of other slots out there and if one is not paying, move on to another or play on another day when your luck is better. Easier said than done,  have some will power.
