I am so excited to give to you our first ever forum member interview. Can you tell us a bit about yourself Icymod? ICYMOD - I sure can! My real name is John AKA Icymod. I live in Canada to the east of this cold but beautiful country. Oh Canada! I'd say! My interests would be in the field of creating desserts, cooking, baking, and fuelling my passions and my just "desserts" from them. Art is another hobby I like to focus on. Q2. I would not only get the opportunity to solve cases but I can finally tell a naughty but Sseexxyy girl before incarceration to ``Put your hands up`` and ``Spread em!`` (Kim Kardashian or Vanessa Rousso, commit a crime already). Q10. Do you have any strange interests or hobbies? ICYMOD - If, ``strange`` reflects what I`m going to say then Astrology and reading books on Luck and odds are my hobbies. Q1: You are obviously the most dedicated AskGamblers forum member, no question about that. But how do you feel with your new role as a forum moderator? And what do you think of the members of AskGamblers? A1: Well what can I say, I love it! I decided to take a break towards the end of last year from gambling, I never intended to take a break from AG it's just ended up that way. I wanted to isolate myself from casinos, not because I thought I had an addiction or anything like that it's just slots were becoming my life and taking over! I'd eat, sleep breathe slots so I really needed to get away from it. When I had an email from Jelena in my Yahoo asking me to return as part of the team this really touched my heart. How often do you play, how much do you spent on gambling, which games do like to play? If someone suddenly forbids playing slots everywhere, but gives you the opportunity to play one slot for the last time, what slot it would be? A2: The only games I play now are of course slots! I used to play them everyday but now I don't. I'm really enjoying my role here so to be honest that's taking precedent over my slot playing at the moment. None of us ever really thought much of marriage, I was never one of those girls as a child who dreamed of their wedding day so when Valleys proposed to me on Christmas Day 2 years ago it was a complete shock. Unfortunately Valleys had a very serious accident where he broke his back, pelvis and foot and we nearly lost him due to the severity of his injuries do for the last two years we have been rebuilding our lives! Now I've just found out I'm pregnant which is fantastic as we have been trying for over 3 years (yes we even managed to do the funny business when Valleys was ill...haha) so we finally get to extend our family. After the baby is born we may look at finally preparing our wedding. So you may see an Ask Gamblers wedding yet! Family is the most important thing in my life...and I have a huge family ....I am very blessed. Q7: What are your pet peeves, strongest suits and your wonderful hobbies? A7 - My biggest Pet Peeves are Slow Drivers, Ignorant/Arrogant People and Being Cold! I'm not quite sure what you mean by strongest suits sorry but my hobbies are many! I love music, art & crafts, (not other people's art!) outdoor activities (I'm such an adrenalin junkie) and my biggest hobby is being a Mum. Q8: What about the “other” Sharon, the one behind the scene of the AskGamblers forum? A8 - How long have you got? This is obviously my favourite question. I actually have a little picture I'd like to share with you...its a present that I had Christmas just gone...its sums me up down to a tea! What you see with me here is what you get really! Although If I was to meet anyone of you in real life I would be extremely quiet in the first few days! Everyone always thinks I am a quiet girl, it takes a few days for me to come out of my shell. I'm not a good girl by any means...I like to break the rules now again but I've been tamed! I haven't always gone down the track in life but I've learnt from my mistakes and it's made me who I am today. If I could live my life again...would I change anything? Yes! I had a very good head in school and studied law in college ready to go to University I had my career ahead of me but a few bad decisions in life meant that career could never become a reality but I've made what I can out of my life and now I couldn't be happier! I work for Mazda and Mitsubushi carrying out their Servicing Calls! I love it. Working from home definitely has it perks, when I have to return to the office I think I'll shed a few tears! I really think that I would try and spend the whole day at a Football Match, I never understand why men fantasise over football so much, I hate it. So I'd probably do that and try and learn what the 'offside rule' is. Q10: What inspires you the most and what's your dreamland? A10 - My daughter inspires me to do everything I do. My dreamland is at home with my family. I'm not a greedy person I've never wished to be a millionaire in a dream country just for my family to be here and healthy. Q11: Imagine somebody gives you a magic stick for a day, what would you do with it? A11 - I'd turn myself into Prime Minister of the world! This world needs to be run by a dominant female! MY INTERVIEW WITH AFI4WINS Well its finally here, my interview with Afi...I think you will agree its a fantastic interview. During his time here he has been a fantastic friend to me and to everyone. Its great to have such a happy and upbeat member here who not only brings experience in the slots but good life experience too. Afi it was an absolute pleasure interviewing you - here is your fifteen minutes of fame my friend! Q1. Afi, can you start by telling us a bit about yourself? And how/when you started gambling? Answer: Hmmm…just a bit? Okay, but I’ll have to skip a lot of bends and winding roads to keep this short, hehehe. Afi is my real name, call me Afi for short. Slots is my game, and I love it a lot! Born in Malaysia many many years ago, went for further studies in London, travelled around Europe, then back home again…my life history in 4 seconds, hehehe. How and when did I started gambling? Oh, geeee!…I’d have to point my finger at Leicester Square! Hahahaha. During my early days upon arriving in London, I came across several amusement arcades in Leicester Square…and that first step I took into one of those arcades changed my whole life forever! I was completely amazed and thrilled by what I saw there. Remember those coin-drop machines, whereby numerous coins would be clumped together, just overhanging the edge of a ledge, waiting to drop down to be won? My interview with Valdes I thought it was time we all got up close and personal with the two people that make this forum possible for us which of course are Valdes and Luciana (interview with luciana coming soon) After a very loooong wait this is my interview! Q1.Its a mystery how you came to Ask Gamblers and when exactly this stems back to. Are you able to tell us about you ended up running this amazing forum? VALDES - You would never believe it. Actually I came to AskGamblers while searching in Google for a place to submit a complaint against a casino operator! It was exactly two years ago, February 20th. I had an issue with Sloto’ Cash and was determined to seek for my rights when I found this place called AskGamblers, submit my complaint and was hoping for a successful resolution, although, to be completely honest I wasn’t such an optimist. And then, only a couple of days later, all of a sudden, the casino which was ignoring me for weeks miraculously sent me en email with a suggestion of how to settle this dispute. Wow, what AskGamblers did for me was really impressive, considering the fact that I have already had some disputes with casinos, using the complaint services of various gambling related websites and was prepared for a long and tiresome fight. So, this is how it all started, they helped me and won my heart for doing it. Q2. Did the thought that one day you may be running the forum ever enter your mind when you made your first post? VALDES - Well, I have tried lots of games, of course. Most table games, some bingo and keno, and even a few scratch card games. And how long have you been in charge of this great community? LUCIANA - Surely can My real name is Jelena, I'm STILL 29 years old..okay, for one more month only! My birthday is on 7th April! Born and raised in Serbia, where I still live! The things that I love the most are music and dance and I'm "training" reggaeton!
