  1. I stick to 5/6 casinos for the following reasons the loyalty points generally get more generous as you play more you do not have to go through ID&V each time also 'know your customer' which seems to be getting more rigourous if you are playing big stakes you hopefully get to VIP and best of all a named contact and email/tel then hopefully will get some hospitality especially if I am down with the particular casino also you build up a relationship with the host also if something goes wrong eg operationally - things are more likely to go in your favour if you have been a long term player but I make sure they also know I play with the other casinos just to keep them on their toes - it is a free market and we have the choice to vote with our feet (or our clicks) the proof in the pudding came with a certain Irish Green casino with a dodgy sense of humour! it was Fri 4pm I was playing double attack BlackJack put down my stake (in the k's) saw the dealer had a weak hand and so doubled! the game crashed (not just loss of internet!!) after 10 mins my stake was returned (as per the T&C's) still felt miffed as I was more than likely to win (though I couldn't remember either mine nor the dealers hands!!!!!!) but within an hour they credited the full double win as well as my stake back now that is looking after the customer!!!!
  2. I play BJ at UK registered casinos eg Coral/lad, PP, Grosvenor mainly Playtech and currently my favourite is double Attack BJ which allows you to immediatley double if the dealer has a weak hand - then you can still double again and so quite easily have 4X on the table which gets quite exciting!!! or scary!!!! I've had some some big ups and downs (as probably everyone here has seen!!!!) but overall up I guess we all remember the time we have 2 tens and expecting the win and the dealer makes that 21 but I can remember those times it works the other way and that is why I love BJ I used to play slots and although I still play them I did get bored of losing more times than I won!!!! at least with BJ its more 50/50 I suppose I would ensure everyone checks the RTP so at least you know what you are dealing with - the playtech BJ I play are all around over 99% which I 100% trust ha ha I even bought shares in playtech!!!!
  3. Wow that's a lovely win especially with a 15!!! I suppose that's why I like BJ so much - everything was against you and the dealer can still bust I once (sort of accidentally!) won £12k on a £15k stake 2 hands at £3k each dealer shows 8 on one hand I get 18 and stand on 2nd hand I get two 8's so split 1st hand get a 2 and so double and hit 20 with £6k on the table 2nd hand I manage to get a 3 and then thank you a double with a 10 to 21 so another £6k on the table Dealer gets a 10 I was never so happy for the dealer to get 18 and push with me on my 1st hand!!!! I am new here so out of interest why does BJ get a negative feedback? Cheers
  4. I had the same problem myself with a respected casino it basically credited my account which I could see in the background before the game finished It even happened after I had stood/busted on my hand on blackjack It does make you think that when you press the spin button the RNG just throws out a multiplier of your bet - skewed like a downhill ski slope with zero the most frequent outcome!!!!! It does take the fun out of it!!!! the real question to me is as Newbie points out - what happens on the bonus run - I like the idea that this resets as a new game within the original game but I do not know for example pharaohs fortune where you can choose spins and multipliers - has this all been predetermined on that spin minutes ago? would be nice for a casino rep to give some idea??? Cheers
  5. I hope you get some clarity - I looked at the site here in the UK and it immediately said I cannot gain access to the site as I was in the UK looking around this site I am amazed at how many people set up new accounts with brands that are from miles away and not regulated in the UK I would treat an online casino like your bank account - would you put £x savings in a company that you have never heard of, in a different continent and not covered by the FSA Financial Services Authority? I always check who owns the casino and who regulate Then maybe do a small deposit and w/d straight away to see the process and speed I tend to ignore any upfront bonuses as this gets everything complicated. If I play, I tend to work my way up the VIP scale and wait until I get a named VIP mgr. I then ask them for better bonuses. Also if anything goes wrong I have someone to contact who is 'on my side'. I also get them to email me the bonus terms as it is amazing how many people in the operations side then do not see this! maybe this site should do a quick guide to avoid lots of these pitfalls for new players? I must admit all my sites are either UK or Gibralter and always UKGC hopefully the residency trumps the nationality maybe someone can check - can a US citizen living in the UK play on a UK site?
