Great advise, and since its part of Bitcoin it was very annoying. I know I should pursue it, which I may do. I have had so many withdrawal issues lately I need a break from problems so its currently on the back burner. I will save it for a rainy day when I am really bored and ready for more problems to solve. For now, I hit my quota already.

I am going to try DOA at bitstarz, fast withdrawals, fair bonuses, and so far 0 problems!

Quick update - attempting my second withdrawal with Slots.lv, via Bitcoin. I hope this time is smooth, if so, they earn a lot of points for that. I don't know if casinos realize most of us inevitably end up depositing the money again after we withdraw it - it's just nice to know you can get your own money out when you want to.

Although their process that is stated AFTER you request bitcoin withdrawal is to review all requests within 72 hours, which is a bit slow for a verified customer using bitcoin in my opinion, as long as I receive it in 3-4 days I will be happy.

Their bonus is great, I have to admit that. Since you can keep winning and converting bonus to cash by working off the play through gradually and beating the odds (not easy to accomplish but it can be done). So if they approve and process this withdrawal, I will actually be up with them in real cash terms, which is great. I will update once processed - the clock starts now. Of course if this ends up being another nightmare I will let you all know as well. Fingers crossed for a smooth process with no required phone calls and emails back and forth.

globalgamer got a reaction from MacdoniS in Online Slots for US players - the challenges and some solutions
After having jumped headfirst into the world of online gaming, I have found some fundamental challenges as they relate to people either 'from" or physically in the US.

I am not in the US myself but fit into the "from" category, so long story short, when I register for a casino my credit cards etc are US based. Because of this, when I am in a non US country that a certain casino allows, I can gamble fine - but when I withdraw I better make sure I have proof of address for wherever it is I have been playing (other than the US), or at least a very good explanation of why I am using a US address and gambling in Hungary or Sweden or wherever it may be.

Sometimes when I withdraw funds they want to discuss in detail over the phone where the IP showed I was playing at the time of various wins (even though they allowed me to login from there) and question why I was there, how long I was there, what was I doing there, when I will be back, how often per year I go there, etc. etc. I suppose they are thinking I was using vpn software to trick them into thinking I was somewhere like Netherlands or someplace I was not - in which case I assume they would not pay. If I said "yes I won but I was really in the US at the time and was using VPN software to trick your server" then probably they would not allow the withdrawal.

That is more of a tangent from the reason for this post - and a soft warning to those US people who travel a lot as do I, to have your "ducks in a row" when it comes to winning and withdrawing hard earned funds (if lucky enough for that to happen).

I have not broken any of the golden rules of online gaming (yet), and have truly only gambled in places where the casino allowed it, so I was ready for this and if not I probably would not have received any winnings. However if I lost it all I doubt they would have given it back.   I ask that question for which they never have a good answer.

The main reason for this post is about casinos you can use when you are in the US - and the games they offer (or lack thereof).

The bottom line is that the selection is very limited when in the US, for online slots. For table games its fine, but for slots, no NET ENT, no DOA, and VERY few to choose from. However there are some I have found to be decent.

    Fruit Zen
    Dragons
    More Gold Diggin'
    5 Reel Circus
    Bulletproof Babes
    Mr. Vegas
    Gypsy Rose
    Green Goblins
    Good Girl Bad Girl

On all of these, while up and down and all over, I am overall up so far. And they are decent games, with good enough return to player stats, and enjoyable (however maybe not for all of time).

However to really have fun (which is most of the time since I am rarely in the US) I prefer to use casinos that cater to the various other parts of the world. One example is bitstarz and 7bit casinos. Those work fine since they accept US players, and they accept bitcoin, so its easy to join, and to play (as long as you ARE NOT in the US at the time of playing and especially at the time of WINNING). And winning and withdrawal by Bitcoin works fine also. They let you convert the bitcoin into EURO for example (using a third party instant process), so that you can play games such as NET ENT which does not accept bitcoin. So these are great solutions for US players who are abroad (and there are millions of us who either travel a lot overseas or live overseas, as do I most of the time).

I just want to caution fellow US players that if using a VPN from within the US and saying you are someplace you are not, in the unlikely event you win big...be ready to explain why you were in whatever place your VPN software placed you, at length. Without such an explanation, it would be highly unlikely to receive the funds (based on what I have experienced so far). And even if you really are someplace where the casino allows you to play, if you are from the US (using a US address, etc.) also you have to be ready for these questions, as is my case.

If anyone has had similar experiences or has other solutions I am not aware of please let me know. Would love to hear from others in similar situations.

By the way Video Slots allows US residents who are living in other "allowed" counties to join their casino, but you would need proof of address in the country you are in (possibly) in the event you win and they request to verify you (which is likely). I am probably going to sign up with them soon, once I figure out how to deposit (another separate post gets into that - they don't accept bitcoin sadly, so I am looking at options of which there are a few that seem viable and safe).

So in conclusion of this post, if you are physically in the US there are plenty of games to keep you busy (far more than I listed, but those are my favorite available inside the US at this time). Or if you are from the US and travel a lot, you can join and play without issues so many other games and casinos in other allowed countries, as long as you are really where you claim to be - or are good at convincing them you were when you really were not (using vpn software etc). There are some additional hurdles but as long as you are aware of these issues, you can enjoy hassle free depositing and reasonable time frame withdrawals as well, wether you are in the US or wherever you may be at the time.

Playing Fruit Zen just now on Slots. lv. 2.50 bet and was playing around 30 minutes up and down and up and down, overall pretty level with slightly downward trend. Then hit a 2 column wild with a small payout (around 40 dollars) which means one more free spin. I wasn't able to catch the picture of the first 2 column wild since didn't know where it was heading.

Then the next spin (free spin) hit a third wild column which is where it gets fun. That brought the win to 4425 credits using a 5 cent coin and playing all ten lines. screen shot attached.

So then of course I earned one more free spin since every time you have a new wild column you get one more...and thats where it gets really exciting.

The third spin (free again) brought the win to 5575 credits on the 5 cent coin.

All together that is 3 spins (one paid at 2.50 and the next two free) for a total combined win of around $290 (5575 credits win on a 50 credit bet) so roughly a 111x return on bet.

I just wish I had been betting more! This game has been good to me overall, definitely up since playing it. However this is probably the biggest win I had yet on this game.

Taking a break from it now, will try again later or tomorrow:)

Well after all this great feedback I am ramping up for a serious DOA session. Just lost $500 US at a land based casino for the third time this week, and won $450 this week online in two brief sessions. Not sure why I bother going to land based anymore. Hours of 5 Dragons (Aristocrat) spiraling downward forever. DOA here I come!!

I am new to the world of online winning, and wanted to ask for some feedback on Skrill. I tried using Neteller which didn't work out since I am from the land of milk and honey with more rules than you can perhaps imagine (the place between Canada and Mexico). So Neteller was unusable - unfortunately. I even received their debit card.

So before I sign up with Skrill I want to make sure it really works, and do they process your withdrawal requests pretty fast (to credit card or bank account)? Has anyone had big issues with them?

    Thank you for any feedback.

Well I have to admit something good about slots. lv casino. Their bonus is actually very fair. I do not like the withdrawal process at all and would hate to win a big progressive since who knows what would happen but I suppose they would eventually pay out since so far they have eventually paid (after a lot of headache and uncertainty). But in the end they did pay and I will admit I am now using slots. lv again!

I am in a position in which I did very well on their slots and was able to withdraw more than my initial deposit and ALSO have a lot of bonus money left (around $1300).

With their bonus as I continue to win it goes into available cash which is nice. So a few days ago when they unfroze my account I had 0 withdrawable balance and as I have kept playing and winning it has gone up to around $100 withdrawable. So with their bonus the excess winnings can be taken out which is nice. Unlike another casino I won't mention here where nothing can be taken until a massive play though is met.

So bottom line I am now playing slots. lv again and I am enjoying consistent wins and have brought the 1300 up to around 1700 and am striving to hit the bonus play through (half way there) which would convert it all to cash that can be taken.

So for now I am happy with them EXCEPT for a very very bad withdrawal experience (multiple repetitive verifications and slow speed).

But....it would be unfair to not give them this positive plug. Their bonus rocks compared to many others - you can take out the winnings even with bonus money left, and play the bonus money into more withdrawable cash. That is pretty cool. So lets see if this slots. lv negative feedback turns overall positive soon - if I  manage to win and cash out again I will certainly let everyone know.

For Bovada I am still waiting for the 15 minute bitcoin withdrawal that will take 48 hours for them to review. I have learned to be patient and not stress and just wait and maybe they will process it without the need for meaningless phone calls and back and forth emails for days (nice people on the phone but they have no information ever). So if they pay me in a few days without having to talk to them 3-4 times again that will be a relief.

My opinion and what I would do if I owned Bovada is this. I would simply tell people on the withdrawal screen that withdrawals take 3-10 days to process (including bitcoin). Whatever happened to under promise and over deliver? Why do they have to publicly market fast withdrawals that they know they cannot possible fulfill? Is this their fault or is the nature of the business that if they told the truth up front (be patient, withdrawal take 3-10 days but you will receive them) maybe no one would ever sign up? Do they have to mislead you to earn customers? If so can we blame them or is this the nature of the business? Well I still blame them and think they are better off setting proper expectations first. I loose a LOT OF MONEY in casinos (land based) and would if they are lucky do the same there if I did not have to feel like I am getting screwed over every time I try to take my money out that I am lucky enough to win. So in my opinion they should all be straight about true withdrawal times. Why say 15 minutes for a bitcoin withdrawal when the second you press submit it says they will review it within 48 hours (even after verification etc etc)? Broken promise immediately, already making people mad the second you press submit on a withdrawal request (the post-withdrawal landing page says 48 hours to review it, yet the previous screen says 15 minutes time frame for the withdrawal). If they told the truth about the time frame before you submit the request I would have nothing to complain about, it would be on me.

Changing any casino/bonus rule retrospectively is definitely a bad casino tactics used by some online brands with poor reputation to ***** their winners usually. And although they would have most probably tried to 'cover' themselves with some ''God'' clause somewhere within their terms and conditions, you should not leave it as it is and chase this one further with the relevant licensing authority directly.

globalgamer got a reaction from ValDes in Bovada is NOT paying customers! I have it in writing from them! See below!
I have learned not to expect the money as quick as they say when making the withdrawal, so that helps a bit. Have not yet heard from Bovada a few days after the most recent bitcoin withdrawal but hoping I don't have to call them again. Usually they want to talk about it first but only during their business hours etc and long holds with no answers in the end. So I am trying to forget about it and see if it goes through in a few days.

With bitstarz paying in 10 minutes for bitcoin its hard to settle for 4 days with Bovada, but as you said, remaining calm and not expecting it soon is the solution. For those new to it of course when they say 15 minutes you think its true. I have learned. The only ones so far that have been fast for me are 7bit and bitstarz. I have tried bovada, slots. lv, and the two mentioned, as well as bitcoin casino. Bitcoin casino is probably fast to withdraw but I never got to try due to some bonus issues but it is a nice look and feel casino, and easy to deposit.

Thanks much, excellent advise. I did contact them and they are great (Softswiss). However since it is a privately run casino its up to the operator how they run their bonus etc. I won't pursue it further since I ran the money down to 0 on my way out so its pretty much a closed case at this point. I just won't trust that particular casino again. But I do use another one that is powered by them and they are top notch as you said. I just wanted to put this out there, since it was a big disappointment. I am new to online gaming as well so it was a bad welcome experience. Definitely learned a lot from it and am VERY careful about bonuses now.

Absolutely 100% YES. The reason for me at least is in a land based casino you are surrounded by sounds of others playing the same game, betting 10 times more, the same amount, etc., and winning big - sounds of winning fills the casino. So you are constantly reminded of the potential to win big at any moment and turn the cold streak into hot, or change machines, etc. Lots of positive distractions in brick and mortar casinos. Online however it is more of a battle with yourself. It's very easy to walk away from the computer (in my opinion), post to a forum, reply to some emails, close the browser, etc. etc. Lots of distractions that can potentially save you from a horrible loosing streak reinforced by others winning big within earshot at land based casinos.

At the same time, online it is easy to walk away from a potentially hot streak, where at land based I think you are more likely to keep going when you are on a roll.

Overall, I find online safer, and love the fact the return to player % is set by the game maker not the casino (from what I know so far, at least for major game makers this is the case). And online easier to control the outcome by walking away when its time to call it a loss or a win.
