Hi there, I’m the representative of arcanebet.com on Askgamblers. Who are we? We’re a Curacao casino that is trying to do things right (...gasp!). We try to KYC and approve withdrawal requests of players within hours. Only a few days ago, for example, we processed a payout of 150.000 NOK (14.500 EUR) in under 24 hours. The player was kind enough to testify to that on our review page. It’s not big enough a sample to prove to anyone that we are fast, but it does show where our priorities lie and how we try to approach things. We also try to engage with the community in an open and transparent way. We know Curacao has a bad reputation (and we are in the process of obtaining an MGA license for that reason alone), but by doing things properly, we are showing players every day that at least there are some exceptions out there. It’s been an uphill battle but slowly and surely we are gaining traction as a reputable casino. Our vision and player-centred approach has led to a great TrustPilot review page and – despite only having been listed very recently here – positive reviews on Askgamblers. What happened? A player (Johnnygotthebone on this forum) wrote us claiming that our NetEnt games are fake and demanded his money back. He then claimed we were a casino of EveryMatrix and asked his money back for those reasons. Is it true? No… Our NetEnt games are not fake. As we told Johnny: Then the player claimed we should have not accepted him as a player, because he’s banned / self-excluded on EveryMatrix casino’s. Are we an EveryMatrix casino? No. We use CasinoEngine from EveryMatrix as a slot aggregator (a single point of integration allowing us access to multiple gaming providers), but we have absolutely no operational link to EveryMatrix. We have our own license and are our own company. As we told Johnny: How did the player respond? We understand that players have concerns, many Curacao casino’s have proven them right in the past and we regret the bad name the industry has gotten due to that. We are trying to change that, by communicating openly and providing proof when such worries are addressed. However, in this particular case, it seems that the player was not looking for a real reply, he just wanted the money back, no matter what we said or what proof was provided. He then posted the review on askgamblers, another one on our trustpilot posing as someone else and threatened to do the same on casinomeister and many more to come. Final note It makes us really sad internally that we have to see such bad reviews popping-up by this one individual that really harm our reputation (proof above, the player “copyyy” immediately not wanting to play anymore with us). The funny thing is, that if Johnny had reached out to us saying “Damn, I lost my money and had such bad luck”, we would have very likely given him a cashback, because he did indeed lose his money very fast. It makes for a bad experience, we understand that, but there is nothing we can do about that, just because our games are legitimate, and we cannot manipulate the results. Some casino-games are very volatile, you can win big and go on a spree, but the downside of experiencing such rush, is that you can also lose your money very quickly. All we can do as a casino, is to be on the player side, by being understanding and where possible give a little bit back. And, when that big hit comes, to process the withdrawal fast and without hassle. However, Johnny took a completely different approach and simply tried to blackmail us “give me money or I write bad reviews” and this we cannot accept. We try to be on the player side, but it has to stay reasonable and when proof is provided that suspicions or claims are false, we also expect for people to believe what is in front of their eyes. I hope that at least the people that want to objectively judge us can accept the proof and see that the claims are false. We have also sent proof to AskGamblers of the following: NetEnt themselves confirming (on paper) that the games on arcanebet.com are legitimate, original and not in any way manipulated.
