Yeah, it's pointless trying to work out what games may meet the wager: i've met high wagering with various games over the years, some unexpected like Starburst one (boring 5 hours).
Sometimes you low roll for an hour, build up, bet bigger and make it: sometimes you simply low roll yourself to zero. Just depends.
My personal preference, of the last few years is just to go in biggish and hope you hit a decent bonus early doors. With second chance bonus's IMO you may as well try 50 two quids, 25 4 quids etc but that's just my preference. It's a good feeling, if it hits, to know that you've got a grand left to wager and have a grand balance - knowing every wins in the bank - very rare though, but good when it happens.

First of all vir2al, how good is your knowledge on slot games? Do you know which games are good for wagering purposes? Do you know which games can give you a good extended play time, or which games can kill your wallet in no time?
I guess not, simply because even the very experienced players may find these questions rather baffling at times! Why? Because a game can play good and well one day, then turn into a hungry money-guzzling wolf the next day!
It's rather difficult to suggest some games for you to wager on, for the above reasons, but if it's me, I would stick to my regular playing games that I am more familiar with, especially games that can pay big wins with small bets. Unless of course you like playing with bigger bets of up to the allowed max bet limit, then a lot would depend on your luck on your playing day. A quick good win on a 5 Euro bet can easily boost up your balance by several hundreds, so that could make completing the 1000 wagering requirement a breeze!
Good luck anyway. Sorry, that I cannot recommend any games for you. 😉

Yeah, had a punt on Gorilla Gold and see it as a bit of a money drainer - i'm not a fan of gimmicks in games (Hello, BTG's Monopoly etc) and the 4 slots of that is simply that IMO; so quickly left after it ripped through 300x in the blink of an eye.
Not against re-skinning games, per se: No Limit City's Deadwood is IMO an improvement on Tombstone, but only if they augment the previous version: innovation has gone with a lot of providers sadly, though NLC seem to be one of the few trying something new and BTG, despite some of their releases, at least try something new/different now and then (even if not a fan)
Re Rick & Morty - the Federation Spins are where it's at in the Bonus: tbh though 2/3 of those 500x took 250x loss to get, so profit wasn't that great but you can see how it can payout (two wilds in Federation Spins and a Rick symbol on the first reel will normally shoot you up to the 500x in one spin)

Yeah buddy I am partial to some gaming without a doubt. A shame the game design has gone downhill but worse of all, the pay outs are bloody anemic these days.
500x five times on Rick and Morty in 5 days? That is fabulous and I'm happy for you. Although at the same time, I could knock you over the head for telling me as I'll end up putting a few hundred at least in that game because of it. LOL (just kidding but there is truth in there)
Yes the free games are hard to come by on Blue Print so I end up "buying the feature" sometimes. I hit 1000x on Legacy of Ra however I had been playing it for days at 3x times the bet I got the monster win on. Can't have everything.... Funny enough it was only Queens as the featured symbol but it was Megaways all the way across. I've been able to get 200x to 300x on Diamond Mine but I've over played it and to be honest, the payouts for normal spins make it useless. I would stay away from their newer Gorilla Gold as the payouts are horrible. The 4 slot layout is a ploy IMHO as you need to really bet big (4x your normal stake) to get something large.
I agree with your PNG observation and if I see a new game by them, I certainly don't get excited. They have always been more than stingy in pay outs for me and I've played most of their offerings. From the looks of their newest titles, it seems they are listening to too much hard rock and possibly smoking too many joints.

Yeah, BP are grim for hitting a bonus but been playing Rick and Morty and had 5 500x (not much over them) the last 5 days so hitting purple patches with them.
No one does cheap games, re-skinned with no imagination like PNG though. Every release gets worse and worse - should really slow the production line and get a new development team: shocking game releases over the last 18 months in particular.

Roulette for me is a funny game that runs either hot or cold, there is no in between in my experiences which are probably to many (haha). I know the percentages and "hit rates" but, in my opinion, you can throw those out the door in most cases for a gambling session. I stress the word, session.
I have had similar experiences you are describing in your roulette play and even went so far as to use different accounts on other casinos just to try and make heads or tails of things. Guess what, I basically had the same results. I found that not playing at all for a couple weeks is the best solution as I believe over thinking and perhaps "trying" to hard to win exacerbates or compounds the problem.  That doesn't mean I won't play rounds of roulette with another provider.
All in all, I would guesstimate I am probably close to even in all the times I have played roulette for many years as I have had some incredible sessions. The most important factor in all this time without a doubt is knowing when it's time to leave or finish a session. For some people, that can be difficult.
Touche mate, I couldn't agree more. Sounds like that is coming from a person with a little experience. Haha cheers 😉😉

Providers are literally dishing out rubbish games nowadays. Imagine the top symbol paying only 2x - 5x the total bet for a 5-of-a-kind win! Extremely low paytables are becoming even more extreme lately, even going under the dirt if I may say so. 😡

Honestly speaking mate, Online casinos are very convenient, but land-based casinos give real-life thrilling moments. Other than that, I would say that winning or losing depends a lot on your luck that day. No one day is the same as the next, and no one knows when the luck is up or down, until you play to find out. The smart gamblers would run away quickly if the luck is bad, the stubborn ones would play on and end up losing.
Like they say...know when to run and know when to stay.
Blaming everything on the cards, wheels or slots isn't going to change anything...they do what has been designed for them to do...but we gamblers, we need to pick the right time and day to play...or simply leave it to the chance of the day! 😜

Funny thread, the OP sounds like a glutton for punishment .... Seems he's enjoying himself and not getting too beat up financially playing lower stakes.
Personally, I enjoy roulette and Evolution tables have always been harsh to me for some reason. I prefer Netent Auto Roulette if available.  I play on other tables and even the slot variety of offerings and do pretty good.
Roulette is one of those games where you can get really lucky streak over a few minute period and win rather big. I have hit singles 6 times in a row before.
Lightening Roulette by Evolution gaming is not nearly as good as Playtech's Quantum Roulette in terms of the multiplier "game show" roulette offerings. Lightening roulette is rather cheap IMHO in their multipliers variations with 50x being offered probably around 7 out of 10 times. I hardly ever play that anymore as the tables itself plays more than abnormal it seems. Perhaps it's just me. Quantum Roulette on the other hand has constant multipliers of 100x to 300x up to 500x with double ups a lot of the times. Much better value for your money without a doubt.
To the OP, I personally walk away from a roulette table quickly if I don't get at least some positive results in say 15 minutes. I find that if a roulette table isn't hitting for you, it's best to find another or lose your bank roll. This is my experience anyway. Thanks for your post mate and cheers!

So, slots in my personal blacklist...
YGGDRASIL slots, ALL of them! Still shocked how come every single online operator out there is now offering Yggdrasil games but so many of them still don't have Thunderkick or NoLimit for example... Makes me think we talk about some brilliant marketing/sales team there OR... their games are bringing better earnings than any other slots provider. Which means only one thing for poor player...
Unfortunately, my beloved Play'N Go is not too far away from Yggdrasil and by the look of it, their recent frantic attempts to offer the worst possible slots are already producing great results. Take Riches of Robin for example - how come a reputable operator produce such gigantic piece of $^%$% is truly beyond me! 😡
    Part two coming soon...

One thing to note is that Gonzo can dish out many dead spins and losing spins, during those 66 spins there were 44 dead spins (66.67%), and if combine them with losses disguised as wins 9 times then total of 53 losing spins out of 66 (80.3%). Longest losing spins streak was 25 and longest dead spins streak was 18. It's a high volatility slot...

1800 as far as I remember, on a dollar bet and then, when the feature finally came it paid the astonishing amount of the measly 20 bucks... The next one though came in less than 50 spins and paid out really well which helped covering all the losses from the 1800 no -feature-spins.
Still, I tend to believe the 'balance' is no longer there and the game simply 'feels different' to me than it used to be back in late 2018 - early 2019... Could be the platform though.

thought more about this and so going to add that when the player gets put into a trance/zone then the player is being played and under mind control. If you are able to take breaks during a session to break from the trance you would be able to regain control and as you said "you need patience and also a break in the action to assess your situation" so set the rules where for example you do a batch of auto play spins and when the autoplay batch ends take some time a minute or two between at least and NOT immediately start a new batch, walk around, make some tea. Or maybe you like to click for each spin like a skinner box pigeon or rat waiting for the occasional reward. (Some people have been found to wear adult diapers so they wouldn't have to leave their seat and stay playing the slot at the casino). All the sounds and reels spinning all part of the slots design to put you under their mind control. Now the thing is that for some players getting into the zone/trance state is what they desire cause that is where they escape from reality, get relief from any pains and any interruption to that causes annoyance including winning jackpots cause that interrupts their "zone". That is discussed in documentaries about the slot addictions. But in order to have control of the situation taking these breaks and remaining calm is so necessary otherwise the slot has you under it's mind control and that tells the player to keep doing what they are doing and keep feeding the slot no matter how much it has taken off your balance.
Keep calm and continually assess the situation with regular breaks. Is the slot not paying? then move onto another and is the next one also not paying then it's not your day, end the session. Easier said than done.
Try playing a slot with the sound turned off, no more positive re-enforcement sounds used against you for all those losses disguised as wins (LDW). What about the reels as they spin, attempting to hypnotise the player, it's all part of the design, the anticipation of symbols, two scatters and needing the 3rd one to get the bonus etc or max ways on a BTG slot. 117,649 ways wow surely a big win is coming, oops nope nothing connected but sooo close, onto the next spin player as the slot gives the player another sip of tilt juice.
    calm = clear judgement/decision making
    tilted = clouded judgement/decision making

First of all, I appreciate your rather extensive and constructive input both for myself and those who may read this thread in the future. Well done and I do not doubt the numbers or the countless techniques and variations used to maximize the bottom line.  They really use the old "carrot and stick" routine over and over. Social media uses the same techniques with their notifications constantly dropping hits of dopamine into peoples brains. Slots are no different except there is a real time financial aspect appealing to one's greed.
A quick side note, I have lost the gamble on increasing the free spins around 80% of the time so I don't bother unless I feel really lucky. I've even paid for the feature on Big Chili and lost the gamble, twice in row. Talk about pissed off, lol. One thing I noticed since doing that in one casino is the fact I get a lot of those coins decreasing the value of the "buy" feature. At the same time, they serve as a perfect mechanism for the game to block potential big wins too. Talk about evil, that is just criminal in my opinion.
I most wholehearted agree that all the games are specifically designed to basically hypnotize the "player" (who is being played) whether they know it or not. Much like the mind control mechanisms the television has done to society as a whole in my opinion. To say this is no joke is an understatement. There is mountains of money at stake and you can bet your cotton socks developers hire top psychological professionals along with using a substantial playbook of tricks to deceive and beguile end users.
From the whimsical music and sounds to the color, design and themes, you have a serious cacophony of diversions to use as manipulation.
Again, thanks for the insights and the links. This banter only reaffirms the fact that to be successful at slots you need patience and also a break in the action to access your situation. This helps tremendously making a winning session much more profitable. Cheers!

I am certain games are designed to tilt/addict players, they have psychologists that are on the design team, no joke.
"Very large gaming companies tend to use psychologists to optimize their profit systems, including lootboxes, pay to win, and generally making a game addictive. This fact has been a major part of the recent lootbox controversies."
"Slot Machine Psychology. It's behavioural psychology 101: the theory of Skinner and operational conditioning. When you get small but repetitive winnings, no matter if they are lower than what you had risked, the brain assumes there's a positive consequence to your behaviour and tends to continue..."
when it comes to Bonanza design the game has been give this math design: about 60% dead spins, about 20% losses disguised as wins, combines for 80% losing spins, about 1.5% equal returns, and 18.5% profitable spins. I found these figures by checking various long sessions and these stats are around the same mark give or take 1%.
meanwhile DOA1 has this: about 65.5% dead spins, 9.5% losses disguised as wins, combines for 75% losing spins, 25% profitable spins.
more on why slots are addictive is found in a video such as this documentary in this thread I made.
    https://www.askgamblers.com/forum/topic/9773-kaching-pokie-slot-documentary-why-slots-are-addictive/
and speaking of WWTBAM I had only one bonus on it and it paid just 0.4xBet. Haven't played it since. It took 218 spins to trigger. May give it another chance again. But reading about how you can lose the first gamble I might just take the 8 spins (you can still get big wins on 8 spins). I did gamble it to 12 spins last time.

First of all, thanks to the OP for starting such a great topic for this forum. Really good subject to share are experiences as this issue changes over time for me at least.
I would have to say ANYTHING Play N Go as I can never get even a win of 10x or more with them. They have always been quite tight for me across just about all their games. Coming in right behind them are Netent games (I know most people rave about them). Yes Netent is very stingy for me and I have played them rather extensively with my biggest win being a meager 250x.
Other notable companies I can never get a good win with are:
    Apollo
    ReelRNG
    Booming
    Red Tiger
I know these are rather broad strokes naming providers but I tend to try 75% of their games before I give them a miss.
One last comment for now and that is about Immortal Romance and many Microgaming titles, they are a complete waste of time unless you wish to flush your cash down the toilet. About 6 or so months ago they completely went down the tubes for me. Too many other good games out there to waste my time with them. Also Wizard of Oz and Break the Bank Again, they are totally useless.
