Slot of the Week (Updated Every Monday ) - Let's Talk
pyst777 replied to cocopop3011's topic in Online Slot Discussions
I'm looking for a place to ask you a question - this will do. A while ago you recommended a game provider to me - would it have been Relax? Any others? I finally got a win from my favourite (maybe boring) Netent game (Lights) yesterday. Hadn't played it for ages after many losses. Edit: Meant to say I played every Relax game at my current casino - ended up in credit (no huge) which makes a change. They don't seem to have many games though. Yeah, I hate Megaways games! -
Geez, these warnings that you have been playing for xxx amount of time are just annoying. I can spend hours playing and it's not bothering me until they keep telling me what I already know I'm doing. They're pointless anyway when you just ignore them and carry on playing. Does it make casinos feel good about themselves when they pretend to care? lol If they really cared they would close down. They're especially annoying if I have roulette on autoplay - when I'm off making coffee or having a pee. The warnings pop up and stop my autoplay. Grrrrr.

Pragmatic Play Games - Stink RTP for me!
pyst777 replied to pyst777's topic in Online Slot Discussions
Good luck to them as far as keeping people playing their games goes. I've gone back to Evilution Roulette which I think uses a crooked RNG but I can control how much I Iose a lot more now and make my money last longer. I won't make a fortune with the way I play but I do get entertainment from watching the RNG cheat so much. lol -
Aha, that answers my just asked Pragmatic Play question. Good payouts seem to be few and far between. A pity really - the gam es are mostly attractive and simple which is how I like them.
-
I love the ga mes - simple yet attractive BUT trying to get any decent payout is not so easy. I mean like almost NEVER! I've been playing at Casi tsu Cas ino - I wonder if it matters where you play. Maybe sl ots just suck more than they ever did, I'm finding my favourite Net ent and Micro gaming (Quick spi n?) sl ots more difficult to win at as well.
-
I checked these ones out - fun play only. They look promising and I will probably give them a go when I'm next playng with money - taking a little break after a losing run. I like your three suggestions with their set number of free spins - most of the other playtech games I looked at have 'up to' or 'at least' a certain number of free spins which didn't appeal top me. I did find the spin rate a little slow for my liking - even in turbo mode. My pet hate is slow spin rate games, expecially the ones which expect you to wait for all their fancy animations to do their thing.
-
I decided to give one of the Playtech (Irish theme with pots of gold and clover leaves) games a go. Got the free spins where I had to make a one from three choice for the number of spins and another one from three choice for the multiplier - made the worst choice both times - that sent me back to Netent and Play'N Go games pretty quickly. lol
-
I forgot to mention Starburst which I mostly have managed to avoid BUT I decided to give it a go again - big mistake again! I see it at most casinos as a 'top' or 'popular' game - the only thing it is 'top' at is taking money from me and I wonder if it really is the casinos (not players) that it is 'popular' with. lol The runs of dead spins in this game are just unbelievable - serves me right for losing on it because I break all my own rules. Talking about games which allow you to select the number of lines to play - I played Rise of Merlin (Play'N Go) a couple of days ago - 5 coins on one line only and picked up 5000 credits. I did play it for quite a few hundred spins - I wish they allowed autoplay for more than 100 spins. Managed the same sort of thing on Book of the Dead a while ago. I haven't been playing slots for long enough to notice the differences you mention - I missed all the good times it seems. lol

I have one or two games I play regularly - or used to. They always used to give me a reasonable number of winning sessions but lately they're not doing that. Just wondered if there's more to it than just bad luck. The games doing this for me (maybe more) are Thundestruck2, Who's The Bride, Wild Scarabs. Do you play any of them and collect from them? Do you have any games playing the way they seem to have changed for me? There is also a game I have played and never won on - Samba Carnival (I think) from Play'N Go. It has ladies with wobbling ***** which is the only reason I play it - it amuses me. lol Anyone played that and won anything from it? Edit. My wobbling 'things' have been censored. I used the br****s word. That needed to be censored - really?
-
I have favourite games which I like to play more than others but if I have a decent win on one I feel like I've exhausted it for the time being and stop playing it for a while. If I played the same game at a different casino would it be any different to continuing to play it at the casino I'm already playing at?

300 dead spins! - crikey, I give up on games which have 10 useless spins and I really don't think I miss out on anything by not playing them any futher than that. Do the Playtech games return you much of what you have played or more than what you have played, more often than not? There are some games which I have played time and time again and they have returned me nothing. Thunderstruck2 and Who's The Bride are two of those games. I wonder if I would get anything from them after 300 spins. They used to give me free spins at the same rate I got free spins playing other games but lately (last few months) they've just refused to give me free spins or anything which makes me wonder why they've got so tight. Anyway, an update on my bonus - I blew it. I played so so so many dead games (soon after my previous post) which either didn't return anything or gave me free spins which paid almost nothing that I got peeved off and went for broke on one of my favourite games and blew my balance. Am thinking it might have been a good thing - I need a break. Wonder how long that will last.
-
I soon found some dud PlayNGo games - bonus spins returning $1-2 dollars. lol Overall though they've been mainly responsible for me winning my first bonus and 3/4s of the way towards winning my second one with my balance being what I started with, at this stage. I have played Playtech games before - I feel like I've exhausted Netent, Microgaming and PlayNGo games so might have a look at the Playtech ones.
-
Decided to get verified at Paradise afterall - so I could withdraw and re-deposit my balance for another bonus. Decided to play more PlayNGo games and am having a lot more success with them than I was with the Netent and Microgaming games I usually play mostly. Have found the PlayNGo free spins more rewarding with one game returning me $50 for a single 60cent spin. I used to be wary of PlayNGo after having seen so much negativity about them regarding the RTP being tampered with.

Just wondered what other players experiences and preferences are when you get get to choose from options when you get bonus games. ie. Golden Beauty (Pragmatic) gives you 3 choices and Immortal Romance eventually gives you more options the more you play it. My preference is to play the least amount of bonus spins - it's the only option I've ever taken with Golden Beauty because it just seemed sensible to have all those 'wilds' in your favour even if you only get five spins. With Immortal Romance I've taken the options with more spins and more often than not had returns less than the lowest (10 spin) option.

I'm getting better at making my money last a bit longer than when I first started playing slots - learning to 'walk away' from cold machines. I've been burnt when I've played my entire balance on machines thinking that they must turn around sometime - they rarely do in my experience. Grrrrr ...... my last 10 bonus games for 10 different games (20-30 cent spin) all paid less than $7. The last one was 30 spins (2x15) for $6.70. With that happening and all the dead games inbetween, my 'bonus' isn't going to last much longer at this rate. Didn't help my balance when I accidentally pushed the wrong button and ended up playing $5 a spin instead of 50cents on one game - I wasn't concentrating and didn't notice for a while. Double GRRRRRR.
-
I guess I should have done that but I didn't. I can't be bothered with the verification process because I expect to lose in the end so I don't bother with cashing out anymore. If it was a life changing amount that I won I would cash out.
-
Still going with my Paradise bonus so I have only had a casual look at other casino bonuses. Getting a bit annoyed with bonus spins giving low returns at the moment - I'm having a bad run of them.
-
It's hard work finding bonuses worth considering. I see Skrill & Neteller payments are not allowed to receive bonuses with some casinos. I wonder if that's why I see complaints from some people who say they didn't receive they bonus they were expecting - got to read the fine print and boy oh boy, there's lots of that.
-
Yes, that's the one. It's not too bad to play at but some things about it are annoying or lacking. I thought site design and navigation is a bit clumsy.
-
According to my Paradise account I have my full balance (bonus plus what I won with it) available to be withdrawn. I wasn't sure what happened after fulfilling the 30x requirement - if I just got the initial bonus or the full balance. Is that standard?
-
I'm too cheap. lol If I bet 60cents a spin I feel like I'm betting the shirt on my back. I'm usually a 20-30 cents per spin player. Not looking to win a fortune but trying to have a bit of fun for as long as possible. However, I did find myself seeking out 50-60cent per spin games while I was playing with my bonus money. In most cases in turned out to be a good choice.
-
Thanks for that. Damn, I already played King Billy without taking the 100% bonus. Will check the others. Paradise simply won't let you play the restricted games so no chance of making an error and losing it all.
-
It wasn't a huge amount but it was fun doing it. I used to avoid bonuses because I thought they were a waste of time and almost unwinable. Now I'm keen to do it more often - take the bonuses and try to win them that is. Question: What are the things to look for with bonus offers? Like what's a reasonable number of times that the bonus amount has to wagered? Anything else? Edit: Just checked the casino (Paradise) I'm currently playing. 30x the bonus is the requirement. Also looked at another casino (FunCasino) where 50x the bonus is required. Quite a difference!

Found a couple Gunsbet and BaoCasino. Rise of Merlin is another PlayNGo which allows one line play.
