No, my gaming activity on Chrome hasn't changed, if anythig at all. I still get errors, like lags, connection lost and hangs.

I don't play on mobile so I wouldn't know the difference.

Loading times and smoothness of gameplay depends on various factors - your internet connection,  type of device and health condition of your device, to say a few.
