The november nine as they call it, will happen in November so ESPN can maximize the hype of the World Series of Poker. The main event champion will be crowned in November with first prize being nearly $9 million and 9th place being around $900,000

Which is about $30 million in total. That's very nice, but consider that there is also nearly 8000 participants.
