WARNING: Star Sports LTD/AK Bets (Playbook Engineering) SAR Data Exposes Systemic GAMSTOP Failures

Hi everyone,

I’m posting this as a massive warning to anyone who is registered with GAMSTOP and has had deposits confiscated by Star Sports, AK Bets, or any other site running on the Playbook Engineering platform.

Like many self-excluded players, I slipped up and managed to register and deposit on their sites. They subsequently closed my accounts and confiscated hundreds of pounds in deposits, citing a "breach of terms" and claiming they were donating my money to charity. Conclusion Playbook Engineering platforms appear to have a structural defect in their GAMSTOP API. They fail to block vulnerable players at registration, gladly take your deposits, and then blame you for "evading" checks that their own data proves didn't even run properly.

If Star Sports, AK Bets, or any Playbook site has taken your money claiming you bypassed GAMSTOP, do a Subject Access Request immediately. Ask for your Account Audit Logs and look for the gamStopVerification status at the exact timestamp of your registration. You might just find the proof you need to get your money back.
