Hi and welcome to the forum. I don’t play so much these days but no, I never really believed the hot and cold theories myself.

@gaminger1 The real truth is...all games are programmed and designed to play and pay like a rollercoaster! Slow up climbs (losing streaks)...and super fast down runs (sudden big wins).

That gives the games their 'hot' and 'cold' streaks!

Are they? As far as I know, slots, for example, are designed (and verified) to give random outcome each time.

@eddslvr Almost everyone misunderstand the actual function of the RNG!!! Yes, the RNG functions to give random results each and every time, but it runs on a program that tells it when to give dead spins, when to give low wins and when to give big wins (Very rarely if I need to say). 

It's like the autonomous car that is becoming common nowadays. How does it work? It runs on a program that tells it where it is, where to go and how to get there. The SAME way all games are programmed to do!!!

Hmm...I wonder how this program is controlled then. Is there some transparency in verification etc.?

@AlexaRubby Transparency? Yes, but only in the random results that it is PROGRAMMED to give out! Verification sees if the RNG is indeed giving out random results and not giving results in any predetermined or obvious patterns or manners.

The AI is now involved too and that makes EVERYTHING even more complex!!! So complex that verification becomes almost IMPOSSIBLE!!!

So that means we can't know for sure if there is deception. It's quite sad

Where the gambling world is concerned, everybody doing the business only care about making  money and making MORE money.

What about the LAW and REGULATIONS?

Yeah, the law is always there to keep things under control and in order, but that has NEVER STOP crooks from breaking and twisting the law!

LOL there's no randomness anymore I worked that out over the last 6 weeks I'm running on instinct now I know random its not even close now 

the AI is reading our stuff and profiling us and then applying it to everything taking control of the RNG I won't have to prove anything the players will 

start figuring this out for themselves .
