No deposit bonuses

There are many promotional emails I receive from ask gamblers .One being the no deposit bonuses. I have registered with countless sites -the latest being “ slot box” who claim there is no such bonus to be issued upon registration ? 
How are these sites being chosen for these no deposit bonuses? Then claim they have no idea
