what happened, what is the full story?

 

I heard rumours that ESPN had problems with Victory Poker and banned them from their coverage. It sounds terribly stupid.

it was just theft, the guy won a pot and was pulling in the chips and was caught on video taking his opponent's chips while the rest were on break as it was the last hand. stupid

A lot of that stuff goes on at WSOP. Few years back I returned from dinner break and my stack was short 100k or so. Out of 320k I'd left. Dealer said he didn't see anyone. [and you're not allowed to take your chips with you so...]

And how you finished WSOP?

Donkdown start of Day 3 that time [2006], just a few dozen short of the money. But obv I wasn't really trying to scrape into the money.

 

07 I had 120,000 late in Day 1 and busted a few hours from Day 2.

 

08 I flew over and busted first hour with AA v 88 in like a multi-thousand BB pot [allin pre lolz]. Then I destroyed a lot on Craps in fury.

 

09 I flew over for the month but left my hotel room like twice. Didn't end up playing a tourney.

 

This year I didn't go. Thank heavens.
