Well, if that kind of transactions could be constitute as wire fraud, then I'm afraid at least a third of the US population is in big trouble! Seriously, if that could be classified as some sort of crime, do you think the US authorities would wait till now?! They say the gambling money is for shoes or something, and I think that is illegal, but the government goes after the companies who do it not players. For now they're just seizing companies they find that are guilty of processing credit cards, directly or indirectly, to fund online gambling. Probably a big moneymaker for the govt.
