Casino allowing me to play when they dont have license to operate

Hi guys, 

I created an account with Betclic back when I used to live in Malta, I have since then moved to Denmark and have been using the App for sports betting without issues. Today I tried to access the casino page but was told that it was not allowed in my jurisdiction. I then did some research and saw that Betclic does not have license to operate in Denmark.

This makes me wonder if I am allowed to even do the sportsbetting, even though the app allows me to? When I try and access Betclic from desktop I get told its not available in my jurisdiction.

I created my account while living in Malta and with maltese details, but have since then changed phonenumber so my IP address should show I am in Denmark.

So I guess my question is if someone knows if I can continue play with them or if it might be an issue since they dont have license to operate.

Hello and welcome to the forum. So, you home address with your ID is Denmark and not Malta is it? If it is, then you will have issues with verification. The IP will block you access but not block your account necessarily since you registered in Malta.

@Ladedinho The best thing to do would be to forget about playing at Betclic and find a new Denmark allowed casino instead. Don't look for trouble when you can avoid it.
