Refund for losses over limit

I would like to make a complaint against a decision I received via chat from online casino peachy games.

 

I requested a refund for a deposit that made that was over my deposit limit that was subsequently lost. They said it is wagered and so within there terms and conditions can't be refunded.

 

I was able to deposit £6,000 when my daily limit was only £3,000. The date was 29/03/2024.

 

The gambling commission website says that I this situation the casino must adhere to the players limits and refund anything over this even if wagered.

 

Can you please confirm that this is the case and what next steps I should take?
