kcgrannie
I understand from a casino that I play on that they now have a withdrawal option that you can use in lieu of the wire transfer method, which seems to be a major issue with some of these casinos. The new method I understand is when you win and process a withdrawal, you can select the "transfer to card" option. Has anyone ever used that method, and if so, did it work for you? I also understood that US players can use this method, although I have seen some players where this was not allowed. I do see on my options for withdrawal on this particular casino that this option is listed, which leads me to believe that along with the other options listed, this would be allowed for US players. I have contacted the casino and they have confirmed that this is allowed and that is why it is listed as an option. Before I take a chance on this method, I just wanted to check and assuming we are ok with this, can't imagine that the credit card company would "freeze" these funds like the 3rd party processors are doing which is causing a great deal of us to not receive our funds through wire transfer. AND if it is legit., and I am fortunate enough to win BIG, maybe that's the way to pay down my credit card balance (LOL!!) and eliminate the debt!! Black Diamond
Well I still use bank transfers but I have seen that method offered, and if the casino says it's ok, it should be fine. The only thing I would say is that yeah, there will be some risk, but there's always some of that involved when you play online in the states. I don't see how it'd be any more risky than a standard wire, though. I may have to check this out myself, especially if they can send it to you faster that way. kcgrannie
Cheryl55
See we can do that already in the UK!!! But I'm sure the government in the USA has those rules that make it hard and it's interesting that this method just came up now after years of people wanting it. I think you could maybe cash out to like a prepaid card maybe? That would be not as risky. dunno!!! kcgrannie
kcgrannie
Cheryl when you use that method in the UK , lets say you are fortunate enough to win BIG. Are you able to transfer all of the winnings back to your card? I have read somewhere where you can only transfer back your actual original deposit that was made. I have decided to try this method to see what happens. Who knows, couldn't be much worse than the wire transfer. I did chat with Rushmore last night and they have told me that they are using that method and that they have a new processor that is not giving them issues on the withdrawals. Not quite sure yet if I can get the level of trust back, but figured I would try ONE more time to see what happens. THEN if the same thing happens, THEN I will know that there was really something up. I am usually a very trusting person and hope that people conduct themselves on the same level that I would do, but I know that is not always the case. But we will see. Will report back on my results this time.
Greg
So you finally got your rushmore withdrawal? it's good that you are trusting but you should be very sceptical and deposit a very small amount when it comes to online casinos you don't already know good. Cheryl55
Yes kc, can you actually do the whole withdrawal in the USA??? Like I havent done the withdrawal to my Visa in a long time since Neteller does just fine for me so I don't know for sure but the last time I tried it was only the original deposit. kcgrannie
Wanted to update you that I HAVE NOT gotten my Nov. withdrawal from Rushmore BUT I thought I would try again, with a VERY small amount of deposited, to see if they are in fact being truthful about their new processor NOT having issues and that withdrawals are in fact going through. IF this turns out to NOT be the case, well then we will know that this was all smoke and mirrors! I have never seen the "transfer to card" method" and thought I would give that method a try. Guess I am somewhat of a fool in trying one more time, but as I said, if this turns out to be another stall, it is time for me to stick with the real casinos. I have been looking online to see if I can find one that actually can be trusted but am a little gun shy at this point. Always looking for good advice on decent and truthful casinos. All suggestions are welcome. Some folks have mentioned Club World, etc. but again I want to hear from actual players that have played:)
Marco
Could you ask Rushmore Casino, will they change your withdrawal you have pending now to the credit card one? The only US casino I play at any more is Inetbet even tho their support is not the best but you get paid in 48 hours every time. They have wires and checkes for US players. kcgrannie
kcgrannie
Marco, I had thought of asking Rushmore to convert my first winnings to the transfer to card, but from previous emails, where they state the 3rd party has frozen the funds, I assume that this means that NO ONE gets the funds including Rushmore which to me is theft on the part of the 3rd party. If I am wrong PLEASE someone tell me if I have a chance to get that done instead of waiting. And thank you for the information on the casinos that you play. I am SO frustrated and would really like to find a casino that actually pays once I have won. FYI - I have been playing OnLineVegas casino for almost two years now and have NEVER had this problem. I have won several times and have ALWAYS gotten my money with no issue and their customer service has always been amazing. BUT I see where they are no longer taking ANY new players. So far they have been the only one that I have been able to trust. I just put in for another withdrawal with Rushmore that I won last night using the transfer to card method, we will see what happens with this withdrawal. I am doing this as an experiment to see if they will indeed live up to their word that "things are ok now". And who knows, maybe someday I will open up my banking online and see the $2000 they have owed me since last November.
Black Diamond
One could hope! I think there's a chance this could work. What you mentioned as the processor could very well be the issue unfortunately, which could be code for "the US government has seized your funds" honestly. When that happened with the Neteller fiasco players got their funds in like a year after the fact. The Quicktender and eWalletXpress debacles are yet to be solved though. Marco's recommendation of iNet is a good one. I'd definitely suggest Club World/Aladdin's/High Noon/etc. as well, and the Genesys group which are BetOnSoft (Mandarin Palace/Treasure Mile/etc.) but I don't like their slots as much. kcgrannie
davidpom
Personally, over the last two years or so I've not heard anything good about Rushmore casino. Once bad, always bad in my books - they are listed as rogue on various sites. Look, a casino can go from bad to good - but it's not common. Casinos and banks are similar: they rely on trust. If you've been burnt before by them, and are still awaiting funds from the past, I'd advise NO MORE DEPOSITS. I'ts your call of course, and I understand your frustration with not many reputable casinos available to players in the USA - but seriously, it's not worth the risk. Fly to Vegas or Atlantic City and have a proper holiday - where you know you'll get paid if you win. kcgrannie
kcgrannie
I wanted to update everyone that my 2nd try with Rushmore actually worked! I decided to try one more time and use the "transfer to credit card" method and it worked. It took about 4 weeks from when the request was made, but it did show up on my credit card AND was much cheaper than using the wire transfer method, which I am still a little leary about using. I know there have been some folks that wondered if this new method would work for US players and I can tell you that it did. I am still hoping that maybe when my original withdrawal that was frozen will be released, that the casino might use this method to send me my money but I am not holding my breathe. I am moving on. Best to you all. Greg

Luciana
kcgrannie, congratulations for all your fight! This was a really exhausting for you, I'm sure! You deserved your winnings after all that, at least I really hope you will be fully paid at the end! Good luck kcgrannie
Black Diamond
I will definitely need to look into doing this then. It sounds a lot easier than a check and if you managed to get money from Rushmore of all places then it should certainly work at Grande Vegas et al.
