Withdrawal to Closed Bank Account?

Hello everyone. I'm from the UK and made 2 withdrawals from 888 Casino. However, because of their withdrawal policy the payments were sent to a debit card of a closed account. However, I did use the current account switch service to close this account and transfer it to a new bank. The current account switch service says that any payments to a debit card of the old account will be re-routed to the new one. However my new bank said this isn't the case. Trying to get through on live chat to 888 Casino to see what I can do but been on "waiting on an agent to join" for a long time now.

So thought I'd post here to see if this had happened to anyone else and what the outcome was. Sorry if this isn't the right forum for this. I don't come on here much.

Thank you in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You mean 888 Casino - New Jersey, right?

Surely, the payment will just bounce? I accidentally transferred money from my bank account to my closed savings account and the payment bounded in a few minutes.

Hello.

I mean https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/reviews/888-uk-casino Not sure if it is just the UK version of 888 Casino. The payment hasn't bounced so I don't know what is going on with it.

Has the payment actually been sent by the casino and if so, when?
