Blindlight
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and AskGamblers so I hope I am asking the question in the right section. I recently played the new slot Royal League Neptunes Harem on MrGreen and managed to hit 5 x Scatter the other day. On the games graphics it states that hitting 5 scatters = 800x but for some reason it only paid out 40x. As I was quite confused about the low payout I went and checked the payout table and it shows it as a 40x win. I have raised a ticket with MrGreen about a week ago but I haven't heard anything. My question is what you guys think the outcome is going to be here? I am not fully knowledgeable of online casinos ToS and whether or not they are making sure mistakes like this never benefits the player. In my mind it is wildly misleading with such a huge difference between the game graphics and the payout table. I have attached a few pictures showing the above. 5 scatter win Graphics showing 800x Payout table stating 40x Please let me know what you think. Afi4wins
Hi there Blindlight, welcome to the forum. I have just checked the game and its paytable, but sorry to say, there is actually nothing wrong in its paytable or its payout schedule. Getting 5 Scatters is shown as a 40x TOTAL BET win in the paytable (all other wins are shown as total bet wins as well), but 5 Scatters is shown as a 800x COINS WIN during play. 800 coins / 20 lines = 40x total bet win. Most games would show a coin or line win value for each symbol in the paytable, but some games actually show a total bet win instead, as in Royal League Neptunes Harem game. I can see how that might make sense, but isnt it wildly misleading, when it doesn't state anywhere that it is 800 coins and not total amount of coins wagered? I'm not sure the pictures made it to my first post, but just looking at the graphics I would always assume it's total bet as in most other slot games. The option to switch to coin values isn't even an option where I play it. To me its a bit off that a provider can put this as a graphic only to define it in the payable. It opens the door for some baiting marketing hoops in my opinion. Example: "10.000x is announced but in the paytable it's only applicable to 10 % of the coin value". Yes, it can indeed be misleading, especially to players who aren't familiar with looking at paytables (win values of symbols). Some providers choose to show total bet win values, some choose to show win values based on the coin value in play, even though the coin denomination itself may not be shown. Hence such info can be misleading. Older games, on the other hand, always show the coin denomination and the bet size, but newer games tend to show only the bet sizes. There's definitely a discrepancy in that Royal League game, and that 800x should show 40x instead, since all win values in the paytable are for total bet. Shows the inexperience level of the game designers!
