The 2024 ATP finals will run from November 10 to 17 and the world’s top 8 seeded players will play for a total prize pool of more than $15 million and one of the players will walk away with more than $2 million in Prize money. The top 8 players are divided into groups during a random draw and each player will play each other once. The top player in each group will play the runner up of the other group and the winner of the semifinals will play each other in the finals for the trophy. The first group is Ilie Nastase which has Jannik Sinner (1), Daniil Medvedev (4), Taylor Fritz (5) and Alex de Minaur (7) and the second group is John Newcombe which has Alexander Zverev (2), Carlos Alcaraz (3), Casper Ruud (6) and Andrey Rublev (8). Let’s look at the odds for the event. I have a strong feeling that Jannik Siner and Daniil Medvedev will both qualify for the semifinals. The odds for Jannik to top the group are 1.50 but my pick to top the Nastase group is Medvedev and betting a dollar will get you $4.50 in return. In the John Newcombe group the competition is between two players and these are Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zevrev. The odds for Zevrev to top the group are 3.00. My pick to top the group is Alcaraz and betting a dollar on him will get you $1.66. The odds for winning the trophy are also available and bookies are favoring Jannik, Alcaraz, Zverev and Medvedev to win the championship. Betting a dollar on Jannik will get you $2.25 in return but I see him bowing out in the semifinal. Alexander Zverev has odds of 7.50 in his favor to win the ATP finals. I have two picks for winning the championship and these are Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev and the odds for them to win the championship are 3.00 and 10.00 respectively.
