The year ending ATP finals begin in Turin, Italy on 10th of November where the world’s top 8 tennis players will battle it out for a prize of more than $2 million. We here at Askgamblers forum have decided to do a contest where you can guess which player will top their group, win semifinals and the final and you will get a chance to win 600 admin points which is equivalent to €15. The contest will be divided in three stages- First stage begins today and ends on November 11. During this stage you have to guess which two players will top their respective groups. After this the contest will open on Friday 15th and close during the afternoon of 16th November. You will have to guess the winners of the semi-final during this period. Then on 16th after the semi-finals are over the contest will reopen to guess the final winner and you will have to post your guesses before 12 pm GMT, 17th November. Points for correct guesses: Group Winners- 100 points each Semi-Final Winners- 100 points each Winner- 200 points Before you pick your guesses let’s look at the groups and players. The event has two groups and they are Ilie Nastase and John Newcombe. Ilie Nastase has World Number (1) Jannik Sinner, (4) Daniil Medvedev, (5) Taylor Fritz and (7) Alex de Minaur. The John Newcombe group has World number (2) Alexander Zverev, (3) Carlos Alcaraz, (6) Casper Ruud and (8) Alexander Rublev. The ICC T20 World Cup is underway in the UAE and since we have reached the final stages of the event we here at Askgamblers have decided to have a fun contest where forum members get a chance to pick the winners for the Semi finals and the Finals. Members who mange to pick the correct winners will win Admin points which they can exchange for cash. The contest will be divided in to two halves the semi final predictions and finals predictions. You will get to choose the winners for semi finals from the two matches and every correct pick will be rewarded by 200 points. Predicting the winner of the Finals will get you 600 points. Part 1- Semi Finals Semi Final 1- Australia vs South Africa The T20 world Cup has been held 8 times before 2024 and Australia has won it 6 times and have been runners up once. They have a lot of experience and are the favorites to win this game. South Africa's best performance was last year where they reached the Finals but lost to Australia. South Africa would want a revenge of their loss meanwhile Australia would like to make it to their 8th final. Australia and South Africa have played each other 10 times and Australia has dominated them with 9 wins. Australia are currently unbeaten in the tournament and are looking unstoppable. South Africa on the has been in a good form too and have won 3 out of their last four matches. Australia Form- Match 1 vs Sri Lanka- Won by 6 wickets Match 2 vs New Zealand- Won by 60 runs Match 3 vs Pakistan- Won by 9 wickets Match 4 vs India- Won by 9 runs South Africa Form- Match 1 vs West indies- Won by 10 wickets Match 2 vs England- lost by 7 wickets Match 3 vs Scotland- Won by 80 runs Match 4 vs Bangladesh- Won by 7 wickets Semi Final 2- New Zealand vs West Indies New Zealand has never won the World cup but have been in the Finals twice. West Indies has won the world cup once that was 10 years ago but they have a very bad record at the semi final of this tournament where they have lost 3 times in semi finals. New Zealand would like to capitalize on the fact that West Indies gets nervous during big occasions. Its important to mention that every time New Zealand has played a semi Final they have always made it to the Finals. When you look at the head to head record the two teams have played each other 22 times and New Zealand leads with 17 victories. During the current tournament New Zealand and West Indies both have won 3 out of their 4 matches.
