  1. Hi all, Forgive me, I am new to the whole forum thing. I have been reading threads throughout this forum and wanted to highlight an ongoing issue I have with Redbet in search of some advice. I recently registered an account with them a couple of weeks ago and was able to deposit a considerable sum of money as soon as I opened the account which was eventually lost. Having returned to login a couple of hours after registration, Redbet had blocked my account and told me that I had a self exclusion with Mr Green that was initiated a couple of years ago and closes on the 19/5/2023. This is Redbets sister company. Not knowing that these two sites had an affiliation, I did some research into both sites and also found that William Hill (also self excluded until 2023) has involvement with Mr Green, to whom I am still self excluded with having confirmed with them after contacting them via phone. It became clear that although my deposits were allowed, I was at no point going to be able to have winnings or withdrawals from my account accepted and I wanted to know if I have grounds for a refund request of my deposits? I should stress that I was under no implication that these sites were linked, as is the case with William Hill. The registration details for Redbet were identical to those of my self excluded Mr Green account bar a change of email address with Name, Address, Phone No. and DOB the same. I have contacted Redbet who have just said that it has been escalated to the relevant department and they will contact me soon although it has been nearly 10 days. I have contacted Mr Green and William Hill separately to confirm the ongoing self exclusion I have with them as well. It just feels as this is a failure of customer care and social responsibility. It was always going to be a lose lose for me as the customer, regardless if I had any winnings. In addition, Mr Green has had a considerable amount of time to transfer my registration details to Redbet to update their database and block the opening of an account. Both sites operate under MGA, I don’t know if that info helps though. Having read similar threads, it looks like people in the end, reach the desired solution but I’d really like some help from anyone out there that can advise! Look forward to hearing from you all.
  2. Hi, firstly - apologies if this post is in the wrong place. I'm just after opinions/clarification on a casinos t&c's I have been playing on Swanky Bingo (cozygames) for a week or so now. After depositing around £200, from slot winnings my balance now rests at £1000. As the casino doesn't allow me action a withdrawal until KYC info verified, and subsequently as they only allow a max of £300 per week, I found myself tempted to gamble further - when in reality I was happy with the amount I had won and wanted to withdraw. I placed deposit (monthly) and loss (daily) limits on my account to ensure this wouldn't happen. Cozygames have a number of sister casinos that provide the same experience as Swanky, just different branding. As I was starting to worry I would open accounts on these sister sites, I contacted Swanky via Live Chat to discuss Self Exclusion. I started the Live Chat with saying I was not sure at this time if I wanted to Self Exclude, I don't believe I currently have a problem as such, and I mentioned I had heard horror stories of winnings being confiscated as soon as a customer/player self excludes. The Live Chat advisor put me on to the accounts team and they said 'If you were to self exclude due to gambling, your account balance would be reset to zero'. I queried this and they confirmed they would take the money - it would no longer be mine. This doesn't seem right? .. I have never discussed any potential gambling issues with Swanky, nor self excluded from them or any of their sister sites. I have deposited and won - and they say if I were to self exclude I would not be entitled to my winnings or my original deposits? Any help would be apprechiated - Cheers, Kev
  3. I saw this on another forum, not sure if it has been discussed here as yet but I haven't seen it mentioned and feel it is surely of interest to all players here. So, a player who signed up at an EveryMatrix casino around 18 months deposited and went on to win £625 before requesting a withdrawal which was subsequently declined on the basis that the player had previously excluded from a seperate site within the EveryMatrix group. The player argued with the casino that they were unaware the other casino was part of the same group and that it was unfair for their deposit and bets to be accepted if they never had any chance of winning. Now I hear of this situation coming up a ***** of a lot these days, especially with respect to EveryMatrix because of their policy of only performing KYC once a player requests a withdrawal. On this particular occasion the player refused to accept the casino's reasoning that it was impossible to verify all players upon signup and begun a claim with the county courts here in the UK, eventually obtaining a judgement against the casino for the full £625 plus legal costs. If you have had winnings denied by an EveryMatrix casino due to self excluding from a different casino within their group, will you be considering having another go at claiming what you believe you are owed by the company as a result of this judgement? This surely sets a huge precedent for players in the future and might well cause many casinos to start verifying players before they can start to play, at least here in the UK?

Recently, I could see more and more new complaints submitted via AskGamblers Complaints Service concerning different self-exclusion issues and now I believe the right time to ask you has come. Please, feel free to share your own observations regarding the self-exclusion process offered by online casinos and/or licensing authorities you have used so far. How do you like it or not? Do you think it is really working or not? Is it really useful players tool and just mission impossible to achieve? Anything you would like to say about self-exclusion... Now is the time.

I had a complaint with the MGA about everymatrix and 2 days ago i got a mail from them saying everymatrix is going to refund all my deposits since i excluded in 2012 - minus the withdrawals ive made during this periode. According to the mail this amounts to over 5000 euros,(allot of money) I was told to contact the operator or to send my banking info to the mga. I forwarded my info to the mga and EM but got no responce. I contact the casinos witch one forwarded it to everymatrix and another one told me they had nothing to do with the matter and that i should contact EM. Its been two days and i have not heard anything from anyone. I find this a bit odd. Has anyone ever been refunded by EM and how long didd it take before they responded/sent the payment?

Dafabet re-opened my account just after 2 weeks from my permenantly self exclusion request. They are refusing to pay my loses but their rule is very clear above. I know that i have asked them to re-open when but i guess gaming companies should be very sensitive and restrictive for those permanent self exclusion requests. Regards, After they have reopened and I asked them to compensate my loses (because if they did not open, I wouldn’t have played and lost and they shouldnt have opened the account !) they responded like that; Thank you for choosing Dafa Poker! Management has taken a look at your account and note that in your original request for closure it was not mentioned that you have a gambling problem so therefore your account was able to be re-opened at your very specific instructions this morning. We are unfortunately unable to refund your recent deposits as the account was re-opened at your own request along with being played by yourself. Had you been fortunate enough to win like in the past, we would of course been required and willing to cash you out on request (just as we did the last time you requested account closure after a win). Now that you have clearly disclosed to us your gambling problem we have permanently closed out your account and will take all due care to ensure it is not re-opened however should this or any other account be played by yourself in the future we hold no responsibility for losses occurred by yourself in doing so. Even i have asked you to exclude me from your site permenantly in my email ( marking permenantly in bold ! ) , why did not you manage to exclude me and re-opened my account? Is it matching what is written above in your terms and conditions and what you have done ? Well this is their fault and those kind of responses are not good for a big company like that. They need to accept their fault and compensate my loses and they should never ever let the permenant self excluded players to play again !(even aster 2 weeks time!) Am I wrong guys?
