You're right, and I do understand that these measures are in place for a reason. That said, is there any way to have them removed? I'd like to keep my Paddy Power account, but I want to be able to play the way I did before the £5 limit came in. What am I supposed to do?

The state of UK-licensed casinos is honestly depressing. I was playing on Paddy Power the other night, and the £5 max stake just made the whole thing feel pointless. A £5 max stake — what even is that? I can’t even win my money back if I lose early on. Affordability checks? Maximum-loss limits? It's my money — I earned it, not them? Why can’t I spend my money the way I see fit? Since when does the UKGC get to decide what I can and can’t do? I don’t think I’ve got a gambling problem. I just want to have a bit of fun without all this hassle.
