This game's actually performed real well for me. Even without that lucky hit, I think I'm slightly up on it. I've had like five 800x's or so - in a fairly low spin count, I might add. Funny, though, those times I've hit the "super" bonus, it's paid f*** all. That one's a 500x buy, but steadily performing on a 200x return so yeah, those maths are brutal! I really like the game. The Ghost Wild is indeed terrible to land, but it feels like there's a lot more wilds in play here than on previous DH's, so often you'll get a new one on the next spin.
