Just started playing online casinos. What should I know before I get too deep?

So I’ve recently started checking out online casinos for fun. Won a little, lost a little, but I’m realizing there’s more to it than just luck.
 

Would love to hear from folks who’ve been around for a while, what’s your best advice for someone just getting started?

@oliverjohn A good advice would be to play only with small bets, until you get more familiar with the kind of games that you like to play regularly.

Hitting and running on any game as you like is not a good advice, as you might just get run down by a truck along the way!
