I have been playing online for a few years. I have probably played more than average and should have found this site before  
 

Here’s a few questions or thoughts…

if a slot has no memory then my assumption WAS the win is controlled by the casino. All casinos I played at have confirmed the win is 100% controlled by the game provider (pragmatic, Bgaming. Etc)

The game provider does not see me as anything more than a random player? They allegedly don’t know if I won or lost on their machines previously?

RTP according to one casino is spread over billions of spins and for all players on all sites playing that same game.

So where is the win actually controlled. I understand it’s supposedly random. In my mind, there must be an off switch somewhere… if the casino takes a massive hit on live games then how do they recoup their loss quickest?

 

Based on the requirements to start an online casino…. If a casino is newer and has a player come in and somehow land a huge win…the casino pays them out within minutes (usually) and never recoups their funds? 
 

I realize this is all random but I’m looking to see how the backend works. If there’s a post somewhere that addresses all of this with factual info… let me know.

@theredscreenking The actual workings of online games are a trade secret, so no one can really say for sure how they work.

As far I know, whenever you start playing on a game for very the first time, at any casino, from any provider, you are automatically slotted into the games log for real. Each time you play again on that same game, you would continue on from where you had left off, and continue on within those billions of spins needed just to complete one cycle of its RTP program!

If you're lucky, you may have been slotted into the game's cycle in its fairly good mode, if not, you may be in its bad mode, and this is the most common mode for 90% of us players!

@theredscreenking My understanding is that RTP is controlled by each provider. Casinos can only choose the RTP version of the game that they want to offer.

Games like Starburst have standard RTP versions, for example, as well as low and high RTP versions - casinos may choose whichever they prefer to host. That's why you'll find casinos with 96% RTP Starburst and others with 94% RTP Starburst.

It's better to look at RTP as a way to determine how potentially profitable a game is, rather than taking into consideration slot memory or previous rounds, in my opinion. It's not just about how much money you win, it's about how much money every player wins and loses. You may be one of the lucky ones to make a profit, but it all evens out for the casino in the end.

Also, consider that casinos usually have a winning limit for non-jackpot wins. Say you're lucky and win $750,000 in a 50,000x round. That would count as a non-jackpot win. The casino may have a limit of $250,000, so you would miss out on $500,000.

Basically if your not on the radar they don't know you .....But after a couple of days [these days] your in a profile which is accessible through a network 

which puts you into various grades based on wagering , activity , win:loss ratio , and etc : but starting out you get a golden handshake bonuses are like
