[Rollbit] Unfairly suspended and over $7k stolen from me

Recommended Posts

So I wanted to share my recent experience with you guys, to hopefully try and make other people aware of these crypto casinos that carry out borderline illegal practices and get away with it due to them being situated on pretty much lawless islands in the middle of nowhere.

Firstly I want to say that I have tried to be as accurate as possible in detailing everything that happened. None of this is fictitious.

In short:

I had been heavily gambling on Rollbit for the last 2 months, I had lost around $25,000 in total, until I managed to win back a fair portion of it, to which the casino didn't like so they suspended my account and 'forfeited' over $6500 that was on my account at said time, all for playing one of their slots and being told it was "abusing site features" despite not actually abusing anything or breaching their terms of service in any way.

The story:

The reason I chose to play at a Crypto casino was because after watching 'AyeZee' on twitch, I honestly felt like it was going to be a much fairer experience. It seemed perfect; instant cash-outs and easy to signup, along with having cashback etc on wagering.

So, roll on 2022. I had just received a decent bonus for Christmas (no where close to the amount I lost), so I decided to try my luck at gambling again after abstaining for a few years. I registered on Rollbit, and over the next 2 months I had wagered over $500,000, and at this point I was down around $25,000, despite this I was still an active user of the chat and community, giving out an estimated $2000 or so in tips when I was having a good day.

Play style:

My preferred method of gambling was bonus battles, most of my wagering consisted of this.

- A bonus battle is where you can specify X amount of users to all buy a specific bonus for a set price on a slot, whoever wins the highest amount takes all of the winnings.

When you setup a bonus battle you're able to invite an account called Rollbot, now, this is the casinos own account that, to their explanation (although no actual proof), is played on by any of their online staff at the time. So, for example, if I wanted to do a 1v1 battle but no other user wanted to risk $300 on a bonus buy, I could invite the casinos own account and they'd play the battle as though they were any other user.

So, for weeks and weeks the casino was happy for me to consistently 1v1 their account, taking loss after loss, even when a lot of the time it would seem rigged. (I would hit for example a 500x on a slot, and they happen to hit 550x on that exact buy, when the game is extremely volatile), however, I continued to use this method because it was faster than waiting for other users who played higher stakes to join.

At this point I was around 20,000-25,000 out of pocket, and decided to try the new game that they had just added, which was; "Dwarfs Fortune", by the provider WazDan.

This game is a similar concept to the 'hold and spin' games where you have a grid and have 3 spins and you must land an amount of money and then that gets added to the total. I started playing this game because it wasn't very volatile, the buy price was 250x, the max win was 2500x, and it usually paid a minimum of about 75x back.

Where the casino said I 'abused site features':

Now, another feature with WazDan slots is the ability to gamble your win on red/black after each game, this is a built in feature of their slots. So if I had a bad win I would try to double or nothing to give me a chance at winning the battle. Now, this would work similar to the Martingale strategy, whereas I had a 50/50 chance (in theory) of getting it right after each buy, so there were times I would lose the coinflip 10 times in a row and be down over $2500, and then there were times I would win multiple times in a row and have a good chance to beat their user. (Still not 100% chance, I would still lose games where they had a decent win).

So, after an almost 12 hour rollercoaster of a gambling session, in which I was chatting to their online staff who were having to play against me over and over of whom mentioned nothing wrong at all, I had somehow managed to win around $15k, so I cashed out a good portion of this to which I then had to provide KYC, which I obliged to, and continued to play. However, shortly after my cash-out I was logged out of my account and upon login I was given the message; "Your account is suspended, contact support". So, I contacted support. The message they gave me was this; (Please note, I am unable to retrieve some of conversation as I cannot login and I assume my cache cleared and therefore have no session ID in their chat).

- "Hello there! Your account was locked as it is currently pending preview. Please give us some time to review these."

- "It shouldn't take too long for the review to be completed".

- "There should be an update regarding your account today, it shouldn't take long! We'll let you know once there is a reponse from my colleague on this!"

Now, I had messaged several times asking and they seemed to just be delaying their response and ignoring me, so I tried to go to sleep despite being stressed out not knowing why I had been suspended nor what would happen to the funds on my account. So I sent one final message asking about my funds and asking if I could withdraw them as I didn't like them being held hostage for no reason, to which I went to bed and awoke to these messages.

- "Yes, we are only holding the funds whilst we complete an investigation, we will let you know when this is completed."

- "Hello, your account is now permanently disabled for abusing the site's features".

Now, I tried to contact them multiple times after this, via their email and via their live-chat, to which they just straight up read my messages and then ignored me. They claim that I 'abused site features', so I visited their terms of service page and read it over and over. There is absolutely nothing I have done that could be deemed as abusive or exploitative. The slot was available to play, it was setup on their bonus battle feature (not every slot is listed) and they played every single buy against me, and also spoke to me during this time.

I am still completely confused as to how they feel they had the grounds to actively remove my account and in doing so steal over $6500 of my funds for no reason other than they either didn't like me playing the slot that they had listed or didn't like the fact I had actually managed to win some money back.

Conclusion:

So, that's the end of my experience with Rollbit. I have since tried to contact their big influencers, such as AyeZee and his staff, however despite them agreeing that nothing I have said seems like an issue, that has not helped me in resolving this issue.

I wouldn't recommend using their casino, it seems they are happy for you to lose money, but as soon as you start to recoup those losses they'll make up some rubbish to steal your funds away from you.

I hope no one else has to deal with this sort of mental torture.

Regards.
