thinking about video poker

all right, so i've been on a miserably terrible losing streak and i know that the casino wins in the end and that's just how it is, but i'd like to cash out once in a while! SOOOO, i know that video poker has much better odds than slots, but i'm really bad with maths and not sure on where to play, strategy, and whatnot.

 

oh, and i'd like a simple game please because like i said, BAD with maths like, idk, what's the best on microgaming maybe? unless there's something better on another casino type?

If you're going to do video poker, Jacks or Better is where you should start. Look for full house that pays 9, flush that pays 6, and royal flush paying 800 (you typically have to bet max coins for this, or else it only pays 500). here's a strategy sheet:

 

1. Four of a kind, straight flush, royal flush
   
2. 4 to a royal flush
   
3. Three of a kind, straight, flush, full house
   
4. 4 to a straight flush
   
5. Two pair
   
6. High pair
   
7. 3 to a royal flush
   
8. 4 to a flush
   
9. Low pair
   
10. 4 to an outside straight
    
11. 2 suited high cards
    
12. 3 to a straight flush
    
13. 2 unsuited high cards (if more than 2 then pick the lowest 2)
    
14. Suited 10/J, 10/Q, or 10/K
    
15. One high card
    
16. Discard everything
    

 

Go from the top down. Make sense? So like, pick the best hand you can out of the above series with each draw.

What about like, some of the other variants (is that what they're called LOL) cheryl?? Like, say Deuces Wild. It seems liket hat would be better because there are wild cards?

Yes, there are a few imperfections in this strategy, but it's better to stick with the simple version than get caught up in mistakes with the more complex one!!!

The thing with deuces wild is that the paytable changes. You need a three of a kind to get your money back. So it all evens out. I don't know as much about Deuces Wild though.... I just know people say Jacks or Better is the best.

If the online video poker launch in casinos then it would be quite easy for me to play and to win also. But when, that I really don't know so till then I will continue with the wild jack casino games.
