In their terms & conditions it clearly states that if you want to close your account you can request this - but they will refuse to actually do this if you ask. many times I have shown them screenshots of this t&c when I ask them To delete my account - but they always say “we can’t cancel account …” or eventually after begging they will say something like “okay but don’t log in in the next 7 days or it won’t work” never seen anything like it.

I tried to submit an official complaint to AskGamblers but it won’t post as it keeps saying “invalid characters in the title” - does anybody know how to fix this ***** Issue: Wouldn’t let me close my account for months, ignored responsible gambling rules, and only closed it when I asked for my personal data. What Happened: For over six months, I kept asking BK8 to permanently close my account because I was struggling with gambling. They refused every single time. I told them gambling was hurting me badly, and I even said it was making me feel suicidal. Their own terms and conditions say that account closure is possible, but they kept lying, saying it wasn’t. BK8 is legally required to let players self-exclude under cert.gcb.cw rules, but they completely ignored this. Their Response: After months of ignoring me, they finally admitted that nobody was going to reply. They said they “closed” my account, but if I logged in within 7 days, it would automatically reopen. That’s not a real closure. They refused to acknowledge anything I said or follow responsible gambling rules. The moment I asked them for a copy of all my personal data (which they’re required to provide), they suddenly found a way to close my account instantly. They also lied, saying they don’t have any personal data on me. Every company stores user data—this is just an excuse to avoid sending it to me. Why This Is a Big Deal: They ignored responsible gambling rules – They refused to close my account even after I told them I had a problem. They lied – Their own terms say account closure is possible, but they told me it wasn’t. They only acted when I asked for my personal data – Which is shady and suspicious. They put me at risk – Even after I said I was in a bad place, they still tried to keep me playing. What I Want: A refund of all deposits made from the moment I first asked to close my account due to gambling harm. A full copy of my personal data, as per their own privacy policy. BK8 to admit they broke responsible gambling rules and change their practices. BK8 treated me horribly, ignored their own rules, and put my well-being at risk. This needs to be called out so other players don’t go through the same thing. If they don’t fix this, I’ll be escalating to regulators and making sure their sponsors know exactly how they treat players. This is not just bad customer service—it’s dangerous and needs to be exposed.
