For me trading is similar to playing in casinos in some aspects as they are similar psychological formation (self control, patience, optimism and things like that), trading is binary, you can only buy or sell, so I think it is more similar to even money bet on some games as they may be Roulette and Baccarat, another skill you need to use in both, casinos and markets is the money management because money is your row material for playing or trading on markets.

 

For me they are differences and similarities between being a trader and a gambler, so the comparison is not crazy to me.
